Folded and Feathered Workshop Coming Up!

We're just one week away from the Folded and Feathered workshop!
Happening Wednesday, October 21st starting at 6:30 (class begins at 7pm sharp).
at the Home Studio of Jenn Mason
55 White Place, Brookline Village, MA 02445
In this class we'll be using luscious Cavellini vintage inspired paper to create a sweet little folded portfolio to hold a special set of stationery.  The stationery will feature "baking soda" bird collector's cards, vintage sheet music, gold embossing powder, punched flowers and even a touch of rhinestones!
To finish it all off we'll even line our lovely khaki envelopes for a luxurious look and feel!

Class is $25 and class size is limited.  Only a handful of seats available.

First Class-Spectacular Students!

Student (and quick study) Karin Weldon made this sublime necklace in last night's class and if you think it's to-die-for in this photo, you should see it in person! For Karin's Blog, Click here!

Fun was had by all and we even got a sneak peek at some of the upcoming classes! (the YuDu Screen printing machine arrived and I just had to show it off).

If you haven't already signed up, make sure you take a moment. The full semester is now $125 or pay by the class at $25.

Next class is Folded and Feathered which is a lovely little folio that is folded out of a sheet of larger decorative paper. We will fill this fine folio with a set of handmade cards featuring vintage collectable "baking soda" bird cards and matching lined envelopes.
This project is the perfect gift for teachers, great aunts, babysitters and everyone in between.
We'll be posting a photo of the project next week!

Times a tickin'

I have photos to share with you all for our first workshop! This is an example of the necklace we'll be making next Wednesday in our first workshop! We're using vintage chandelier crystals and found text and images. You'll have all sorts of paper and books at your disposal the night of the class but you are welcome to bring your own! If you want to bring your own image or type something up, like an "initial" it needs to be a photocopy or a laser print. The process we're using would make an inkjet print run.
I will have some addition "kits" available the night of the class if you wish to make more than one necklace or to give a kit as a gift.
We will be using special Adirondack inks to tint our crystals so you'll be able to make a shade that sings to you!We do have limited seats still available to all the classes but I'll be advertising this to the larger community this week it's best to sign up soon to get your first choice or to sign up for the full s
emester.
