To finish it all off we'll even line our lovely khaki envelopes for a luxurious look and feel!

Email Jenn@Jennmason.com or call 617-759-5ART

First Class-Spectacular Students!

Student (and quick study) Karin Weldon made this sublime necklace in last night's class and if you think it's to-die-for in this photo, you should see it in person! For Karin's Blog, Click here!

Fun was had by all and we even got a sneak peek at some of the upcoming classes! (the YuDu Screen printing machine arrived and I just had to show it off).

If you haven't already signed up, make sure you take a moment. The full semester is now $125 or pay by the class at $25.

Next class is Folded and Feathered which is a lovely little folio that is folded out of a sheet of larger decorative paper. We will fill this fine folio with a set of handmade cards featuring vintage collectable "baking soda" bird cards and matching lined envelopes.
This project is the perfect gift for teachers, great aunts, babysitters and everyone in between.
We'll be posting a photo of the project next week!

Times a tickin'

I have photos to share with you all for our first workshop! This is an example of the necklace we'll be making next Wednesday in our first workshop! We're using vintage chandelier crystals and found text and images. You'll have all sorts of paper and books at your disposal the night of the class but you are welcome to bring your own! If you want to bring your own image or type something up, like an "initial" it needs to be a photocopy or a laser print. The process we're using would make an inkjet print run.
I will have some addition "kits" available the night of the class if you wish to make more than one necklace or to give a kit as a gift.
We will be using special Adirondack inks to tint our crystals so you'll be able to make a shade that sings to you!We do have limited seats still available to all the classes but I'll be advertising this to the larger community this week it's best to sign up soon to get your first choice or to sign up for the full s
emester.

Workshops start in ONE WEEK!

Hello friends! Thanks for bearing with me while I got the workshop up and running!
Our first workshop starts in ONE WEEK! Mark your calendars for October 7th!
6:30-9pm (class starts at 7:00 sharp!)

Our first class is Chandelier Charming! We'll be making beautiful collaged and decoupaged pendant necklaces using some GREAT vintage chandelier crystals I picked up at Brimfield earlier this month! We're really kicking this semester off with a bang! These necklaces would cost you a pretty penny at an upscale boutique, but now you can start checking off your holiday shopping list once you know how to make this FAB accoutrement. AND did I mention the class will only cost you $25? Cha-ching! Handmade Giving rocks the holiday gift giving season AND saves you a few $$$ too.

We do have limited seating girls so sign up now so you aren't disappointed when the class is full. You are welcome to sign up for just one class at a time or choose to sign up for the full semester.

Everything you need will be provided for this class but feel free to bring a special book page or tiny poem or photo and I can try to help you incorporate it! (no ink jet prints please)

Getting things started

Thanks for coming by to check on the schedule for the Fall/Winter Create Everyday Workshops.
Our mission is to encourage you to live more creatively EVERY DAY. Our workshops, while an enjoyable night out with friends, both old and new, will also give you the chance to finish a task from beginning to end, to stretch your creative muscles, learn a new skill or technique and create a gift to give or to keep for yourself (because you deserve it).

This Fall/Winter Session will focus specifically on the theme of Giving Handmade. Classes are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of October, November and December, from 6:30pm to 9pm. Classes are $25 include all the supplies you need for the project. You will occasionally be given a list of optional supplies or tools that will help you customize your project or allow you to work on your own without sharing workshop supplies. Rest assured you can always come to the studio door with a good attitude and empty hands and still be able to complete your project!

Due to current space restrictions, there is a limit of 1o students. You can sign up for any or all of the workshops. Enrollment is on a first come first serve basis. We will take names for a waiting list when each class has filled. Please send or drop off payment within 48 hours of emailing me with your reservation.

FAQ

When do I pay?
All payments must be received with in 48 hours of temporarily reserving your class or 24 hours before the class, which ever comes first.
How many students can attend?
Do to studio restrictions, class size is limited to 10 students.
What do I need to bring?
Everything you need to make each project is provided, however there are occasionally recommended items that are needed to help you specially customize your piece. There are also occasional workshops that have optional supplies that you can bring if you want to work at your own pace and not have to share the studio supplies. These items will be listed in the class description.
Do you offer private classes?
You betcha! For the equivalent class offered in the current semester I need a minimum of 6 students (or the minimum fee equivalent to six students). I can work out longer and shorter private classes as well! My pleasure!
Do you offer children's classes?
Occasionally I will offer children's classes. Look for our Early Release Day workshops this fall and Spring.
Do you offer longer workshops?
I sure do! At this time these would be offered on a private class basis. Let's talk.
What if I can't make a class I paid for?
What a bummer! If you cancel more than 48 hours before the class you will receive a credit towards another class. If you cancel within 24 hours and the class is not full there are no refunds. If you cancel within 24 hours and the class is full and your spot can be filled from the wait list, you will get a refund or credit toward your next class. In rare case that I have to cancel a class due to family emergency or illness, you will be given the choice of a refund or class credit. Please note, because we live in a pedestrian community, it is VERY unlikely that class will be cancelled due to weather.
Is there a wait list for full classes?
Yes, any time a class reaches 10 people I will start a wait list. If there are enough people on the wait list I will consider offering a second session of the class. If anyone cancels from the full class I will contact the people on the wait list in the order they appear on the list. Please note that last minute cancellations do not allow me to wait very long for a response. If I have not heard back from you I will have to go on to the next person on the list.
Are there extra supplies available at class time for purchase?
Occasionally, yes, there maybe extra supplies for you to purchase. There will usually always be copies of my books available as well.

Meant to hang on a very sturdy branch or on a door or wall, this lovely little sign of winter is radiant in its bits of distress and peeling paint. Tiny touches of the season help to make this a stunning gift for that person who loves beauty but has everything.
